When this homeowner asked if I could build him a porch, I said sure. Actually, I convinced him and his wife that they could use an entire ValueLift on the front of their house.  My advice was a new porch complemented by new guttering, a few roof repairs, and a change in color. The dark brown makes the residence look small.

Before

First thing we did was to jackhammer out the old front door landing and sidewalk.  We then formed for an entirely new concrete slab.

We provided an eight inch footer all the way around to help prevent water from seeping under the slab.  Each of the front corners are 18 inches deep to provide extra support for the porch columns.

In the end, we totally change the appearance of the house.

See the difference a ValueLift makes.  I always say, if the work isn't going to raise the value of you property at least as much as the cost of the work, don't do it.  In this case it certainly did.

For less than the price of a cheep used car they now have a beautiful house with a ValueLift.
